What is rush?
Rush usually occurs in the beginning of the Autumn and Winter quarters (But we are doing winter and spring rush in 2024!). It is a one to two week long period for the rushees to get a better understanding of the sorority and the sisters. Since becoming a new member in a sorority is a very important decision for the interested participant as well as for the sisters, we feel that getting to know our rushees should be the main goal of our rush process. In addition, interested individuals can meet and talk with the current sisters and become better acquainted with us and the purposes of our sorority. Even if you're not sure if aKDPhi is right for you, don't hesitate to come out and meet some new people!

HOW DO I JOIN?
Rushees are required to attend at least one information session and one other rush event to qualify for an interview. More information regarding the rush week schedule will be provided closer to the date.
DO I HAVE TO BE ASIAN TO JOIN?
No! We welcome undergraduate students who identify as women of all different backgrounds and ethnicities.
HOW MUCH WILL RUSH COST ME?
Rush events are completely free for all rushees. All expenses, including food and transportation, are covered.
